Born and raised in Hawaii, I developed a connection with the ocean and nature and an appreciation for the simple life. Taught to always do what I love, I continued exploring art, design, video and music as I attended college. It was during this time the concept of Arkotec was born and the first design experiments occurred.
While working toward my degree in international business, I decided to look into architecture to find that passion and opportunity for creativity I thrive
on. I moved to San Diego, CA for more school and a master's in architecture. Upon graduating we returned to Hawaii, started a family and have continued to grow Arkotec while enjoying life at a much slower pace.
